RR: Olean and I were friends for many, many, many years.  And Russ, who is up in heaven looking down, Russ said, “Richard, stick with the healing ministry.”  I’ll never forget that.  And from time to time, in fact several times, he and Norma would bring me up here.  We did The Hour of Healing several times live here from Cornerstone Studio.  Sometime we need to do that again.

RON: Oh, we’ve got to.

RR: And have a healing service.

RON: All right, let’s make a note of that.  Let’s do it.

RR: In the ten years that program has been on the air, we’ve had 116,000 healing testimonies.

RON: Thank You, Jesus.

RR: The apple of my heart.

RON: The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree either.  Your daddy started that many years ago.

RR: Well, thank God for Christian television that allows, you know, the moving of the Holy Spirit.  You know, as I said, we spent a few days at Disney.  But on the Disney Channel tonight, they’re not going to have any miracles.

RON: No, they’re not.

RR: Not on A&E, not on CNN, not on NBC, not even on FOX, you know, my favorite station.  They’re not going to have miracles—nor the Weather Channel.  But they are at Cornerstone tonight.

RON: I tell you what, I want you to get on preaching because I’m anxious to hear it.

RR: Well, I have something on my heart.

RON: We’re going to go to song, and then we’re going to come back and just rip it.  Oh, we’re not going on a song?  I guess we’re not.  Are you ready to go?  Do you want me to step off?

RR: Why?  Just stay with me.

RON: Okay.  I’ll be Amen Charlie.

RR: We’ll just take this tie and we’ll just fix this tie up right here.

RON: Okay, there you go.  Go for it, Richard.

And I took the down payment in my hand and took it home. And Evelyn was waiting, asked me how the service was.  I said,  ”It was very good.”  And she said, “What happened?”  I said, “We got the down payment on a new house.  You don’t have to take the children to Mama.”

And she said, “How much did you give?”  “Well,? I said, “I gave the best I could.”  “How much, Oral?”  I said, “Honey, I gave our week’s salary.”  She said, “You didn’t.”  I said, “I did!”  She said, “How am I going to buy groceries Saturday to feed these children?”  I said, “I don’t know, honey, but I had to obey God because He spoke in my spirit.”

It was a cold winter night . . . (Laughter) . . . and we went to bed, and that was the coldest bed I ever slept in.  In fact, you could have driven a truck between us.  And I’ll drink to that.

We went to bed, and at four o?clock there was a loud knock on the door.  I jumped up and opened it, and there was a man from our church, a lay person.  His name was Art Newfield, a big wheat farmer in Northwest Oklahoma.  And he said, “Brother Oral, please excuse me for coming at this hour of the night.  But please let me in,? and I did.

He said, “I was there tonight, but I didn’t give anything. I went home, went to bed, couldn’t sleep.  And a half hour ago I got out of bed, went out into the yard and dug this up,? and he handed me four one hundred dollar bills.  I’d never held a hundred dollar bill in my hand in my life.  And I began to rejoice in my heart.  I’d given $55, and suddenly I had seven times as much after about six or seven hours.

And then he changed my life.  He said, “Brother Oral, this is not just money.  This is seed.”  He said, “You know I’m a wheat farmer, but what you don’t know, I’m in trouble.  I’ve been playing the stock market, and I’ve been losing my shirt.  I may lose my farm.  I’ve not been planting like I should.  I’ve not been reaping.  I’ve been allowing it to lay in the field, thinking I could get rich in the stock market.  And I’m in trouble.  And I brought this to give to the man of God, a seed, because I realize, I know as a farmer that I have to plant before I can have a harvest.  I’ve got to put the seed in.”

And that just went all through my being.  I was 29 years old, 1947, went all through my being.  And something changed or began to change, is a better way to say it, because it takes time for a change to take over a person’s life.  You can get something from this sermon, but it won’t really mean as much to you as it will if you hold on to it a month or a year and later it takes root inside you.

Now you have a purpose for all three different ways. You don’t want steam when you need ice.  You don’t want ice when you want liquid.  You don’t mix up the three, but they all three are very much water with very much their own unique properties, and their own unique purpose.  Right?

Compare God to water.  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Same God, the Godhead, the divine Trinity, the Holy Trinity, is God that simply expresses Himself in three different ways.  God as God the Father, God as the Son.  Am I correct spiritually, scripturally?  And God as the Holy Spirit.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  Correct?

God the Father is the most high God.  God the Son as possessor of heaven and earth.  Don’t we know that Jesus is Lord?  Lord means owner and possessor.  So Jesus is Lord. He is Lord as possessor of heaven and earth.  And then he said the one who is able to deliver you from all your enemies.  What is the Holy Spirit called?  The divine Paraclete, the one called alongside to help.

So in this one Scripture, we get God in all three forms.  Melchizedek is God in all three form, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  God the Father is El Elyon.  God the Son, giving him first of all as most high God, giving him all godly authority as priest.  Then he passes into Him possessor of heaven and earth.  That’s the good stuff, the goodly material, the stuff you can tangibly touch.

And then he knew he had to help him as one who would deliver him from all of his enemies because he was going to fight some wars.  So here’s God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit pouring Himself into Abraham with the blessing of Abraham.  Why?  Because He knew you’d need it sitting in your chair today.

All right, now he’s got the goods.  He’s got the stuff.  It’s in him.  Now Abraham walks along a time lineage. Start over here.  Here is Melchizedek coming from the very spirit room of God, coming from the very throne of God, infusing into a man, Abram-later to become Abraham-He pours into him the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, the one who is able to deliver from all your enemies. And it is now in man’s form.  Is that correct?

He blessed him, and so he infused into him what he was made of.  Right?  Now walk down a time lineage very carefully, and you come right down to this part where there’s Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.  Now the blessing’s getting all messed up here.  Abram’s got it.  He becomes the richest man of his time, the most powerful ruler, the most powerful leader, the most powerful everything.  He’s got it all.

So I came in this night and I knew that-he was already on the air-I knew I looked like my green bathrobe.  I knew I felt like Mickey Mouse inside, and nothing inside me was working.  I was about ready to break.  We’d been through everything imaginable in our family the last year, and you’ll hear more about that throughout this conference.

But everybody has a breaking point.  For some reason that goofy car was my breaking point.  When it broke down, so did I.  And that reached my limit.  But I knew that there would be somebody on the other end of that television screen that God would hold me accountable for.

So do you know what I did?  What I always do, and we say it in our house-suck up and keep on going.  I sucked up, and I said, “Father God, I count it all joy,? And I began to laugh.  Now you have to understand, I’ve already had hail damage on this car.  I smashed the tire out of the bumper, and I got another bumper.  And as soon as I got another bumper, brand-new $800 bumper, somebody backed up into my car and didn’t tell me, hit-and-run.

And then about a month ago I went into the TV studio and our garage had goofed up from the power thing, and it came down and my own garage hit my own car.  And I’d done it all.  But now I didn’t even have a car to get mad at.  It was trash!

And I said, “God, can I get rid of it now?”  and He said, “Not now.”  And it got funny.  So I went into the studio late.  I came on television late.  He asked me where I had been.  Wrong question, Jack!  And on the air I told him.  I said, “You know that car that used to run?”  And I chuckled about it.  You have an opportunity to count it all joy or you have an opportunity to get into the flesh and act just like those sharks and crawl up and die.

So I got into the Spirit.  I counted it all joy.  The bottom of that chapter, if you keep on reading, it says if you will count it all joy when you fall into different kinds of trials and tests, and it goes on and all the stuff you’re supposed to do.  Oh, you can’t do that in your flesh. Exactly.  You do it in the Word, in the Lord.  And when you do, He’ll leave you whole, complete, wanting nothing.

So I just began to count it joy, and I began to laugh about it on the program.  He wasn’t laughing as hard, but I thought it was hilarious.  I had no idea that there was a man in the audience, a man I’d never met before, that heard me laugh and heard my story.  And yesterday morning-I can’t decide if I’m going to laugh or cry, but I did both yesterday.  I even have pictures.  You should see it. Yesterday morning Harry and Cheryl-Harry, can I tell this? I’m going to tell it anyway-fell over a brick wall and sliced his knee.  And Cheryl, who is not squeamish at anything saw all the way to the kneecap and fainted.  So he had to get himself to the emergency room.  And he got all stitched up, and he’s walking around like this because he’s got elastic-type stitches that force him not to bend his knee, calls me up and says, “I need you.”    

LR: But the miracle was that every month when he got ready to give the $10 that he didn’t have, somebody always provided $20.  And his comment was, “I got $10 and Oral got $10.” That’s how God operates.

RR: And look at his ministry today.  Look at Kenneth Copeland today.

BS: Exactly.  And it doesn’t matter how many zeroes are after the two.  It could be $2.00 or $20,000 or $200,000.  When I was doing this housing project, along with another Syrian in Columbus, we were doing this housing project.  And I said, “I’m

RR: They’re having fun with each other because they’re both from the Middle East, you see.  I’m surrounded here between two Middle Easterners.

LR: I still tell him I cook better than he does.

BS: Well, good.  Well, do you know, my development was going good, and I drove by it for six, seven, eight years, nothing happening.  And one day I said, “You know, God, I want you to break this thing open because I’m going to give the first $100,000, bring the first $100,000 out here to this ministry, at Oral Roberts University.”

And so the first thing you know, right after that, it wasn’t a week later, Sally and I had lunch with a guy at a bank.  And I was telling him about this property.  He said, “I know the exact guy to talk to.  Get that guy out there. He’ll help you develop it, and it will go.”

And so the thing went.  After I promised God, it started going.  Then I got the $100,000 and I went home that night after I got my first $100,000.  I said, “God, I tell you what I’m going to do.  I’m going to send $5,000 a month.

RR: But that’s not what God told you to do.

BS: But I thought, “Wait a minute.”  I didn’t sleep well.  “God didn’t tell me, Sally and me to do $5,000 a month.  I said I would bring the first $100,000 out of that development here.”

Now there’s 10,000 people right now tonight watching this program and, I’m tell you, folks, this isn’t hocus pocus.  It’s the Word of God.  He says, “Prove me now, saith God.”  He says, “Believe God and you shall be saved.”  He said, “Prophets, and you shall prosper.”  And I’ve been around preaching the gospel for a good many years, you know, about forty-five years now, and I’m here to tell you that God works.

This book, this new book, Richard-I’ve written several books and I wrote one on how I got millionaire mentality and written several books, but your dad has just written a book on Seed-Faith 2000.  And, I’m telling you, for you folks that want to really get your faith started and get in gear and find out what all this is about-wait a minute, do you mean to tell me that you believe God wants a Christian to be suffering, have their car repossessed, get thrown out of their house?  Absolutely not.  That’s not God.

RR: Never too far, never too far. Ladies, you still have time to get to Lindsay’s conference starting tomorrow morning. Katie called from Claremore, a problem with her ear healed tonight through the operation of the word of knowledge. Lindsay, do you have other requests?

LR: We were praying in agreement for healing with a lady with liver cancer and a son taking chemotherapy in Atlanta, seven months pregnant.  Doctors found a mass in her stomach, and they need prayer for the baby.  Paula having a heart attack, they said. Diagnosed with fluid on the brain from New Jersey.  And pregnant mom exposed to the chicken pox.

RR: In the authority of the name of Jesus, I take these desperate prayer requests, as well as all of these, Lindsay, that have just come in just in the last 55 to 60 minutes.  In Jesus’ name, we command the devil to take his hands off of you.  In the authority of Jesus’ mighty name, I feel the power of God filling someone’s head.  I feel the pelvic area being healed right now in Jesus’ name.  And also the pain that goes down the leg, and another migraine headache being healed.

I come against these situations in the name of Jesus.  I rebuke them in Jesus’ name and pray for the power of God to come in your life like you’ve never known before.  Somebody give the Lord praise.  Hallelujah!  God bless you, Terri, Madeline, Samantha.  We’ll see you tomorrow.

I ended up I do not know how this happened I ended up on the opposite ditch, facing the opposite direction. I looked at my daughter, my daughter looked at me. The woman in the Lincoln, her eyes were just needless to say, the truck kept on going. Oh, it’s a good thing he didn’t stop. Thank You, Jesus. God had mercy on him.

And my daughter made one comment. She said, “Big angels, mom.” I still can’t explain it, except the power of agreement that my mother and I prayed.

Well, we got to where Jordan was supposed to ride. She went out to get this horse.  Another horse thought he was supposed to come in with her. He got angry. He kicked the horse. The horse kicked up and reared. And the horse pinned my daughter up against, I mean, body slammed my child into the barn.

I looked at my daughter. My eyes came out on stems. And I said, “That’s it. We’re going home and we’re not moving.” My 13 year old child looked me straight in the face and pointed her finger in my face and she said, “Mother, I will not give up.” I said, “Well, okay, I have been rebuked.”

And I said, “God, we prayed the prayer of agreement. You kept us safe. The angels were working overtime. I mean, the angels are in intensive care unit tonight. But thank You, God, and that never give up, never quit spirit got on me. And I thought, well, hallelujah, you pray the prayer, it works. So thank You, Jesus, and go on down the road. So we will not be stopped.

RR: Now this is the kind of experience, Lindsay, that you’re going to be sharing in the conference these next three days and you’re going to be talking about the prayer of agreement.

LR: The prayer of agreement.

RR: And how to get into the prayer of agreement.  Ladies, you still have time

LR: Lock in to that prayer of agreement.

RR: I’ve got my eyes on the prize.  Come on, give the Lord praise. And welcome to the campus of Oral Roberts University.  Lindsay will be along to join me in just a minute.

We’re getting calls from all over the country, miracle after miracle after miracle.  Alvina called from Fresno, California, has been deaf in her right ear for 30 years, was watching the Hour of Healing one night and I said, “Put your hands on the television,” or, “Lay your hands,” I should say, “on my hands,” and she did.  And her hearing has been restored after 30 years. Glory to God!  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah! Jackie in Higgendon, Arkansas called, actually, I beg your pardon, and it’s Lynn.  Lynn called to report a healing in her husband, Jackie, of cancer on his head.  A year ago the doctor said the spot on his head was cancerous, and they’ve been watching the Hour of Healing, and Jackie said she really did not believe in healing.

You know, when you need healing, your theology changes.  She didn’t believe in healing, but after Richard spoke a word about a spot on the head, she watched the spot on her husband’s head leave.  It is totally gone, and he is healed.  Glory to God!

Alberta in Marion, Louisiana, watching the Hour of Healing, received a healing of numbness in her right leg.  Come on in, Sweetheart.  She suffered for 20 years, since having an accident 20 years ago, Lindsay.  “And, Richard, you gave a word of knowledge about healing on the left leg, and then you called out a word about a right leg, and all the pain, all the numbness is totally gone, healed by the power of God.”       This one, Lindsay we got a call from a man.

I feel that God is losing your body now.  I feel that disease going out of your flesh.  I feel warmth coming in your being and a joy filling your heart.

I see some of you in my spirit with your hands up, praising God.  You’re praising God because the healing is coming in you, for the glory of the Lord and for your future in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Amen and amen.

RR: Oh, lift your hands tonight and give Him praise.  Father, we bless you.  We thank you.  We praise you.  Hallelujah!  Thank You, Lord, for confirming Your Word with signs following.

RR: That’s last night, last night.

LR: Sinus and chest cold.

RR: Last night.

LR: She said, “All the stiffness left,” and she said, “I can breathe and I have not had I have not been able to breathe for quite a while.”

RR: Praise God.

LR: Clifford, Michigan.  Isn’t that exciting?

JOANNE BYLAND: It will happen.  I know.  I am living proof ’cause it happened to me more than once.

JB: It was about the second week that they were on there, they started their nightly program, and Richard had a word about somebody’s lower back, you know, the Lord was healing it.  And so, I know, I felt in my spirit it was for me, and I claimed it.  And the Lord, He did, He healed my back. And then I had problems with my wrist and He healed that too.  And I called. Somebody called about my testimony, and I called and gave them my testimony.  And I said I called my partners around here telling them how the Lord had healed me, you know.

JB: I feel great.  I do a lot of things I used to couldn’t do.  I do pretty much anything I want to do.  And for an old lady, I feel great.
