And God said, “I am going to have you fast because I’m going to show you that I am enough for you.” He said, “I want you to go on a juice fast for three days, and I am going to sustain you. I am going to show you that I am enough.” And He said, “Your focus isn’t going to be to lose weight this time. Your focus is going to be to be joined with Me.” He said, “I am going to meet every need that food’s ever met in your life, and I am going to let you have My presence.”

Because, you know, when you have repentance, you enter into God’s presence. And it’s just a turning of our heart. It’s not a work’s thing, it’s a turning of our heart. I said, “God, forgive me.” I saw it. And so at that point, He said, “Stop weighing yourself, stop dieting.” He healed my metabolism. I went on the fast for three days.

And He said, “Now I’m going to teach you to eat until you’re satisfied, not until you’re uncomfortable, not until you’re gorged. And, also, when you pray before you eat, you’re going to offer up your food with thanksgiving as a sacrifice. And you’re going to say, God, this food, You’ve provided it for me. It’s a good thing. It’s not something I lust after. It’s something that equips me and strengthens me.”

And so I offered my prayer. I started to use my faith when I prayed over my food. And I tell you what, we have been married for 15 years now, we have four children, and at that time, He said, “I’m going to tell you what you should weigh,” because, see, Hollywood can’t tell me what I should weigh. God made me. You know, He knows what I should weigh. And He said, “I’m going to tell you what you should weigh.” And He gave me a figure. He said, “You should weigh,” and He told me I should weigh 116. Now I thought I should weigh 103, because I had such a weird concept of what normal was.

And so I wrote that down in my Bible, and I went four weeks of just eating until I was satisfied and just fellowshipping with the Lord and not dieting and not concentrating. And on the day that we got married, I weighed myself and I was 116. I had dropped like 25 pounds in like three weeks. God just totally balanced my system out.

SPKM TANYA GOODMAN Right now we’re going through a lot of change and God is dealing with us a lot about obedience. That is something he has been dealing with us in our lives about. We have been reevaluating everything in our lives as far as our ministry is concerned, our personal life, our commitments, relationships in business, everything. And everything we don’t feel is totally and completely ordained straight from the hand of God we’re cutting it loose. And God is just doing some things in us and we’re not sure exactly where it’s all going to need, but he is just drawing us aside right now and is saying, “I want you to wait for my voice,” and that’s what we’re doing. And that’s what’s coming out a lot in our ministry. We’re writing a lot toward that.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, we have a love and respect for your family. Of course, your aunt and uncle, Howard and Vestal, were on the program while I was in Korea. And your dad has been here and even Sam has been on our program before. So we’re grateful that you’re here today. Will you bless us with another song.

SPKM TANYA GOODMAN Sure.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Give her another good welcome. Tanya, God

bless you. (APPLAUSE)

SPKM TANYA GOODMAN

SPKM MICHAEL SYKES SONG The_king_of_who_I_am (APPLAUSE)

SPKM REESE LEROY AD04 (ROLL-IN) Reese LeRoy, ORU Singer Plans are underway for the fourth annual Oral Roberts Ministers’ Conference to be held June 23, 24, and 25. Hundreds of ministers from across the country and around the world will join together in ORU’s Mabee Center to hear dozens of anointed speakers of God. And the Set Free Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Unit at the City of Faith has been expanded to accommodate more patients. This increased demand will allow for patients of all ages to come for treatment. In addition, the City of Faith has initiated an eating disorders clinic. Both programs still have openings. At University Village residents will soon be able to enjoy a new climate control system. Workers are busy replacing the 17 year old heating and air conditioning unit so that nearly 400 residents of this total lifecare center will be more comfortable year round. Meanwhile, over 1,300 students from 37 Christian schools from across the country will join together at ORU’s campus May 17th for the ORU educational fellowship competition. Students will compete in areas of music, voice, and drama and they will be awarded trophies and plaques for their accomplishments. For this week’s ministry minute, I’m Reese LeRoy. (APPLAUSE)

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Thank you, Reese. There is a lot to do at ORU this summer. And not the least of which, of course, is the upcoming 4th annual Ministers’ Conference in association with the Charismatic Bible Ministries Fellowship which begins June 23, 24, and 25. That is a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday here at ORU. If you’re a minister of the gospel in any capacity and you’d like to attend that great, great conference of ministers, then you are not only welcome but you are invited. So mark those dates down, June 23, 24, and 25. You’d better call and get a hotel reservation quickly because things are filling up around Tulsa for that great conference. Last year there were nearly 7,000 people who joined together for those 3 days and we’re expecting a great time in the Lord this summer, June 24, 25, and 25. (APPLAUSE) So get your reservation in. Call the number…. call the prayer group. In fact, for information about what is happening at ORU all summer long, just call the prayer group at 918-495-7777 and we’ll let you know and keep you posted on what is SU03 happening. My very special guest today is the president and founder of Barbara Walden Cosmetics, Barbara Walden. Barbara, God bless you and welcome. (APPLAUSE)

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS It’s filled with the Holy Spirit.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS It really is. It’s not just exercise. It is an uplifting, self-lifting video tape and I’m proud of it. I’m done. (APPLAUSE)

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Are you going to sing?

SPKM CHERYL PREWITT SALEM Yes, sir.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS What are you going to sing?

SPKM CHERYL PREWITT SALEM “I Will Never Be Afraid.” SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS I will never be afraid. Would you take that microphone off and step over there and get ready to sing, “I Will Never Be Afraid.” Lindsay, do you have another testimony you want to share while Cheryl is getting ready to sing.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Yes, I have two more. Yes, I do.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Then we’re going to have a word about her video and we’ll tell you how you can get your own copy.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS This lady called from Columbus, Ohio, and she said, “I don’t know exactly what was wrong with my arm but I could not raise my arm up and it progressively got worse to the point where I couldn’t even bend it at my elbow. Richard gave a word of knowledge and now all the stiffness and the pain is absolutely gone.” That’s from Columbus, Ohio. And this lady called… this is so cute. She said, “I have listened to Brother Oral Roberts for years and now I am listening to Richard too.” She said, “Years ago I had lockjaw and I nearly died, but God healed me through Brother Roberts.” Now she said, “I thank God for your prayers.” She said, “My doctor’s name was Dr. Roberts but the real doctor is Dr. Jesus,” and she said, “Praise God for all you good doctors on earth.” (APPLAUSE) I praise God for the doctors on earth trying to get them well, and let Dr. Jesus finish the job.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Cheryl’s song is titled, “I Will Not Be Afraid,” and you remind me, Cheryl, as you’re getting ready to sing that we read a lot in the Bible of the commandments that Jesus gave, but perhaps the commandment that he gave the most often is, “Don’t be afraid.” Are you aware of that? He would say to his disciples all the time, “Don’t be afraid. Be not afraid.”

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Be not afraid. Believe only.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Then he had another commandment, or I should say another promise, and that is, “Lo, I am with you always.” And when you think of fear in those terms, you hear Jesus saying, “Don’t be afraid for I am with you always.” Right now here is Cheryl Prewitt Salem to minister, “I Will Not Be Afraid.” Cheryl. (APPLAUSE)

SPKM CHERYL PREWITT SALEM SONG I_will_not_be_afraid (APPLAUSE) AD03 ROLL-IN of CHERYL PREWITT SALEM’S video, “Take Charge of your Life with Cheryl and Friends.” (APPLAUSE)

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Cheryl and I are talking about baby pictures.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS You women. I’m showing the people Cheryl doing the video and they’re talking about baby pictures.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS We were. Olivia’s baby picture is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen in your whole life.

SPKM CHERYL PREWITT SALEM It is.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS That’s what we were discussing.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS If you’d like to have…..

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS It is. It’s a picture of Olivia.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS If I could get a word in edgewise. If you’d like to have a Holy-Spirit filled video of Cheryl’s aerobic tape, then all you have to do is sow a seed of $25 into this healing ministry and let me know you want it. Write me: Richard Roberts, Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Canada: Richard Roberts, Toronto, Ontario. Or you can call the Abundant Life Prayer Group and sow a seed on your credit card and it will be released immediately in the mail to you. And I believe this will be a blessing to you. This is what we were talking about earlier. (APPLAUSE) Now SU01 I want to say a word about the Oral Roberts Ministers’ Conference in association with the Charismatic Bible Ministries Fellowship. The dates are June 23, 24, and 25. If you are a minister, if you’re a pastor, if you’re an evangelist, if you are a prophet of God, an apostle, if you serve in a Sunday school ministry or as an associate pastor, or if you have your own ministry, then you are warmly invited to attend this outstanding fourth annual Oral Roberts Ministers’ Conference in association with the fastest growing fellowship in America, the Charismatic Bible Ministries Fellowship, which is built on love and unity through signs and wonders. There are nearly 2,500 men and women who have already joined this fellowship. This past summer we had an outstanding conference and I want to share some of those highlight with you right now. So go back with me this past year to the third annual Oral Roberts Ministers’ Conference with the Charismatic Bible Ministries Fellowship and let me give you an idea of what happened so you will have an idea of what to expect next month. (APPLAUSE) (ROLL-IN of highlights from the 3rd annual Ministers Conference in 1986.) (APPLAUSE)

We all make mistakes every day. I was reading a book recently about Thomas Edison, and I learned that along his way to inventing the light bulb he made 6,000 mistakes! But when someone would remind him that he’d been a failure 6,000 times, he never agreed with that statement. He always said, “No. I just learned 6,000 ways not to make a light bulb!”

Failing doesn’t make you a failure! When you go to bed at night, you can get on your face before God and say, “Lord, I’m sorry for the mistakes I’ve made today. Please give me a new start tomorrow and help me do it right.” And according to the Word of God, He not only forgives your sins, or mistakes, He also forgets them (Micah 7:19).

Once you’ve given your mistakes to God, it’s important to remember that He has forgiven you and given you a new start. When the devil tries to make you feel guilty for your past, hold fast to God’s promise in Romans 8:1, which says there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

I believe that when we keep a positive, Word-centered, determined attitude and allow God to work in us, He can complete the good work He has begun in all of our lives.

And if God is for us, who can ever be against us? (Romans 8:31 NLT).

One day when Jordan was just a baby, I went out the back door of our house to my car that was in the driveway. As I got in the car, I remember thinking, “Now something’s missing. What is it?” And suddenly, I realized, “It’s the baby! Go get the baby!”

I had forgotten to put Jordan in the car because I was a new mother and I wasn’t used to having a child. Now I was only a few steps away from the house where Jordan was. It was a really dumb thing I did, and thank God nothing bad happened to my child.

But I can’t tell you how much and how long I persecuted myself over that. I thought I had to be the worst mother who had ever lived! Day and night the devil tormented me and I tormented myself about what a terrible person I was.

Don’t help the devil. And then I realized, hey, this needs to stop! I made a mistake, I repented to God, and I asked Him to help me think clearly and with the mind of Christ. But it led me to realize how quickly we can begin to be a “help” to satan in beating ourselves up emotionally. If we’re not careful, satan can use us to abuse ourselves!

I think that all of us, as women, have done that to ourselves at one time or another because we are more emotionally made. But I want you to know today that the spirit of persecuting yourself and beating yourself up is not from God. The God of the Bible is not a God of persecution, but a God of love and forgiveness…a God who wants to give you a new start in your life

Even when we’re our own worst enemy, God is still our best friend. And He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it. (Philippians 1:6 NKJV)

The God of the Bible is not a God of persecution, but a God of love and forgiveness…a God who wants to give you a new start in your life.

The junk in our lives has got to go. If we’re not free to receive God’s miracles, they can pass us by. We can’t go forward into His blessing when we’re filled with bitterness and resentment. And God holds us accountable to let go of the garbage that’s binding us and holding us back.

I believe that God wants us to have the blessing of Abraham, but it’s up to us to receive it. The blessing—which was given to Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3 and passed down through the generations—means absolutely nothing missing, nothing broken, the most blessed and most prosperous. It means increase in every dimension.

Wouldn’t you like to live with no sickness, no disease, no sorrow, no grief, no problems, no lack?

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:2-6 that when we keep all of God’s commandments, we will be blessed in every dimension as Abraham was. Abraham lived in abundance in every area of his life…in fact, the most abundance of anyone who had existed up to that time. Abraham knew that the secret to receiving God’s blessing was to obey Him (Hebrews 11:8). When Abraham heard God’s voice telling him what He wanted him to do, he obeyed. That’s a man of faith.

And faith is what God wants from us. Without even realizing it, many of us put our faith in our wallet, in our employer, in our friends. We forget that our faith should be in the One who hung on the Cross so that we could receive the blessing of Abraham.

Today the blessing of Abraham is ours. Galatians 3:9 NLT says, All who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.

What is binding you today? What in your life started out as harmless, and now has become like layers upon layers of plastic wrapped around your soul? It’s time to let it go! Begin to peel off those layers with the Word of God and and with prayer. And when you’re free, begin getting into position to receive the wonderful blessings that I believe God has waiting for you!

LR: Welcome to Make Your Day Count. I’m Lindsay Roberts, joined with Brenda Kunneman and Christy Hair. And today we’re going to tell you about life lessons that have to do with salmon and dill and mayonnaise and sour crème.

And what in the wide world does that have to do with The Supernatural You, the brand-new book by Brenda Kunneman? We’re not going to tell you. We’re going to show you. It’s going to be something. It started out a disaster, but we’re going to talk about divine interventions in the middle of a disaster. So stay tuned. We’re going to be right back.

PRAYER CLOTH AD

LR: Okay, we are back. And you know me—I love illustrated sermons. And we have an illustrated sermon about divine disruptions. Now what in the world does a divine disruption have to do with Brenda Kunneman and The Supernatural You and your sister Christy and a disaster in the kitchen?

BK: Well, it’s one of the funniest stories. We were traveling out of town, and I was getting ready to do this dinner event for a friend of ours.

LR: It was like a big-shot dinner. It was, it was a big-shot dinner. And so they wanted salmon. And so we were clear out of state, and I called Christy on the phone and I said, “I need a salmon recipe real quick.” She said, “That’s fine.” And she flipped to a book, and she really quickly said—I said, “I’m at the store.”

CH: Picked up the first one I found.

BK: She said, “Buy all these ingredients, and I’ll call you back.”

LR: And that’s when the disaster began.

BK: She said, “Buy these ingredients. I’ll call you back.” I said, “That’s fine.” Bought them all, called her later in this day when it was time to start preparing the event.

LR: But without enough time to do something else.

BK: Correct. And I said, “So what do I do?” And she starts to read the recipe, and she realizes it’s not a salmon dinner—it’s a dip. You don’t cook anything.

CH: Yeah, no cooking involved whatsoever.

BK: Right, there was no cooking involved. And so it’s a dip. Tell them what you told me to do.

CH: Well, I didn’t tell her right away it was just a dip. So I went ahead and—

LR: And she’s the worship leader, and she and her husband pastor the church in Omaha. So, needless to say, can we just say they’re both out of their element, okay?

CH: So I went ahead and said, “Here’s what you’re going to do. You’re going to cook the salmon, and then all those other ingredients are going to make a fabulous sauce.” So she puts it all together, and I said, “Just call me and let me know how that goes for you.”

LR: So I won’t say you were lying through your teeth. You were improvising, right?

CH: I was improvising. I like that word.

LR: Okay, I want to say this one more time. Pick up your telephone, call the toll-free number, 866-870-6932, 866-870-6932. That will be an operator, and that operator will talk to you about the stress book, and the stress book is my free gift to you. Or you can write Richard Roberts and Lindsay Roberts, Tulsa, OK, 74102. I want to sow seed into you. So please allow me that privilege of giving this book to you. It is a seed from my heart.

And, you know, I remember one day when I was writing it, I was so stressed out. And my daughter came to me and said, “Mom, is it a little ridiculous that you’re stressed over writing a stressed book?” And I thought, That is ridiculous.

And I got to the Word of God on my own manuscript, and I sat down and I began to read what I was writing. And I said, “You know what? God doesn’t want us to live underneath the mess.” God said He wanted us to live exceedingly abundantly far above anything we could dare ask or think.

And He loves us so much that He wants to minister healing to us. So this book was written not out of some la-la land. This book was written out of my life and what I went through. And you know what? I think I could add a few more chapters to it lately.

But, you know, the most important thing is, God wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. And your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. And that’s where stress starts to hit us. So please, 866-870-6932. Call that number, and please allow me the privilege of giving that book to you.

I want to tell you a little bit more about some of the calls that have come in. (Reading names)

In the name of Jesus, we just lift up every name, every need, every financial request, every ministry request. Father God, in the name of Jesus, we just are asking You right now to minister to the needs of people.

I am asking for healing in every area, spirit, soul, and body, in the name of Jesus. And right now I want to pray for you, whatever it is you’re going through. Maybe it is in the soul realm, your mind, your will, and emotions. I can’t even begin to tell you how many prayer requests I’ve seen for depression. That’s not from God, and I am praying for God to break the spirit of depression off of you and you to be healed in your mind, in your will, in your emotions. God’s not given you the spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind.

Praying for your finances, for your family, for your marriage. In the name of Jesus, whatever it is you have need of, I am praying for God to bless you from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, in every area, in Jesus’ name.

Now don’t forget, 866-870-6932, 866-870-6932. Please request this stress book and let me sow it to you as my gift, as my gift to you, as a privilege. Please let me sow that book into your life. If you need further prayer or if you’d like to sow a seed into this ministry, feel free to call the Abundant Life Prayer Group, 918-495-7777. Or you can write Richard Roberts and Lindsay Roberts, Tulsa, OK, 74102. Let us pray for you today, and make it count.

LR: When Haley saw the miracles, Jordan laughed at how hard Haley cried and said, “Mom, you’ve got to see Haley. She’s so cute.”

And I’m like, “What’s Haley doing?”

And she said, “You ought to see the pictures.” And they sent me pictures back. And Haley is not crying. Haley is convulsing. She’s crying so hard when people got healed.

And I said, “Oh, no, the bug got her!” The I’ve-got-to-stay-in-Africa bug bit you. And now Jordan called back and said, “Mom, we can’t get Haley home.” So we have a funny feeling you guys are going to get her pretty soon.

When you went over there, that was your first crusade in an environment like that. You’ve been to Africa before, been on many crusades with your daddy, not only in this country but around the world. But this was different. And you saw an opportunity to impact not just the area where you were in, but to impact an entire nation, as well as impact the people in that nation that were so desperate that even one meal changed people’s lives.

And, you know, that makes you feel like the job you’re doing has great value. When it’s like, “Did they hear it? Did they get the message? Do they need it?” No. They needed it. They needed the food. They needed the medicine. They needed the message, and were, like you said, so grateful and precious for every meal that they had.

And now you have a second goal, and that is-

JR: We would like to be able to build a school where we’re sending out these meals. I think that it’s something that seems to be really doable. Even at the time, my friend Amber was the one who had originally talked about with me. And when she was talking, she’s just like, “You know, I think it would be great if we could go and build a school.” But it was just kind of throwing the idea out.

But as soon as she said it, it was like, “Sure, why not? Sounds great.” It’s not like, “Well, that’s nice. Maybe one day.” It was like, “We can do this. We could really make this happen.”

We were talking about we went to Africa together the first time, so both of us just love it. And so we were like, “Hey, this is a great idea. We should go out. We would love to go out there and help kind of get the ball rolling and then see it once it’s done.”

It could really impact a lot of people. For us, it’s a school, but for them, you know, they get an education, they get food, they get to live for years longer because they get nutrition that could drastically change them.

LR: The poverty level, by government, is the poorest country in the world, hottest country in the world. And you chose to live there. Go figure!

NC: Well, the harvest is great, and we’ve got to go where the harvest is.

LR: You know, Christians on the mission field don’t think like other people. They think in terms of the opportunity as the coolest thing in the world, that God gives you the privilege of doing this.

DC: It’s an honor for us to have been a part of something like that. And what Haley was saying, she’s not alone. When people come to Niger, the bug gets them, whatever you want to call it. I don’t know of any visitor that we’ve had—and we’ve had quite a few over the years—and the people say, “I would pay double for this experience.”

And those people by and large are all part of supporting us, part of our partner base, because it’s in them. They’ve been there, and part of their heart is for that nation. And I believe that now is the time for Niger. The windows of heaven are open over Niger.

When we first started raising our support back in 1997, we would talk to pastors and churches. And we’d say, “We’re going to Niger.”

“Oh, Nigeria?”
“No, no, Niger, because at that time people didn’t even know Niger existed.

NC: The news media calls it “the forgotten tragedy,” because it’s just there.

DC: But in recent years I believe that famine that we had in 2005, a news person, the media got hold of it and finally started to air, and that’s when it started becoming a forgotten crisis. But God has not forgotten Niger.

LR: God was raising up a bunch of kids.

DC: We believe there’s more people out there that God has called to Niger that need to answer that call.

LR: The number-one need, Neal, practically and logically speaking, the kind of people you need, the kind of—and I know you’re starting school. I mean, you are right in the process—

NC: Well, we need people that have a vision to reach the unreached, that’s the first thing. But we have opportunities in the area of education. We’re believing for some medical outreach. But we need people that are really just ready to come and be available, faithfulness and ability is probably the biggest thing.

You don’t have to have a lot of qualifications. If you’re ready to say, “Yes, Lord,” He’s ready to use you. The harvest is great, the laborers are few. And that’s because the laborers aren’t willing to go.

And that’s where we’re just telling people, “Come. It’s time. You’ve got to answer the call to the mission field. You’ve got to go out and reach the harvest.”

LR: Welcome to Make Your Day Count. My name is Lindsay Roberts. And here in Tulsa, Oklahoma we’ve had some very unique things happen on our campus. One of them is our chapel service that was Danette and Neal Childs. Now Neal and Danette are former ORU students, but they didn’t stay students here. They went on to open an amazing work in Niger in Africa.

Niger is a country that Richard just came from when he had that tremendous crusade that we’ve told so many people about, how the miracles, the miracles were so awesome in Niger.

Well, we’re going to talk to them about the need that they still face with the country, with the school that they’re opening, and with the feeding program. So we want to talk to them, and I believe they will tremendously bless you. So stay tuned.

LR: Okay, we’re joined with Neal and Danette Childs over on this side, and we’re joined with Haley and Jordan over on this side. And today we want to talk about what happened when you all went to Africa. We’ve said this so many times before about everybody feeling the ministry in Africa over in Niger.

When the Lord placed it on my husband Richard Roberts’ heart, it seemed like it became a family affair. It seemed like everybody caught on, kids from the university, medical school, the dental, I mean, just people everywhere were calling.

In fact, we had doctors calling us and like, “Is it full, is it full, can we go, can we go?” Getting in the last minute, so excited, “Come on, let us go.” And it’s like, “Okay, where do we say no?”

Even with Haley, we were full, everything spent, tickets bought. And she whined and griped. No, she was so sweet. She badgered Richard enough till he wore down and Haley got to go, didn’t you?

HH: Yes, I did.

LR: And it was wonderful. What we want to talk today is, you still have great need. And I want to start with, what in the world, here are these precious kids, and here are the kids from ORU. They’re singing. They’re getting educated. They’re in America. And you hear about going to Africa. Of course she’d already been.

But what makes you say—you don’t just drop everything and run to Africa, knowing Richard had already forewarned everybody it was not a Christian country, less than one percent Christians. They’d never had a crusade like this ever in the history of the country. And it was the hottest, poorest country by government standards in the world. What were you thinking?

HH: What was I thinking? I’ve said before, for me it was just, “I want to go and I want to be mentored under President Roberts on how this all works, the huge healing rally. I’ve never been a part of that. But for me personally going to Niger, something was just birthed in my heart I think while I was there.

And when I got off the plane even, I don’t know, the airport was small and most of it is like outdoors, it’s really rustic, I like it. And I just felt at home when I was there.

I’m thinking, I shouldn’t feel this at home here because I’m on the other side of the planet. But when I got off the plane, I was like, “This is very strange. I feel like I’m coming home or something.”

And for me now, I could definitely see myself personally just being called there and going and going to help these people. Because it’s not just about going to a country; it’s about helping people. I mean, these people are in desperate need of Christ.

And the people really were just sweet and very easygoing. Even when we’d come up and they were crippled five minutes ago and now on the stage, they’re just smiling and they walk up. And they’re walking. These people, it’s amazing who they are.

And I just began to fall in love with the people there. Something about that, it’s not just going to a country. It’s going to these people that need Christ.

And you know what? They saw a live demonstration of signs and wonders in front of them, and it opened something in them. And of course Neal and Danette are there all the time sharing with them. But for us to come together and do this huge rally, it blew my socks off.
