Dear friends,

Miracles—what a great name for a magazine from a ministry that was founded on God’s miracle-working power more than 60 years ago, and through which God is still performing miracles today. I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t love the healing ministry. Even as a child, I saw my dad pray for hurting people who would come to his tent meetings. Sometimes he would have me stand beside him and pray also, and we would see God do miracles right in front of our eyes.

That’s the ministry I grew up watching and getting down inside of my spirit and my heart from the time I was just a little boy. As I grew older, the Lord called me into my own healing ministry…and to lead the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association—built on the strong foundation my dad laid—into the future.

Now, more than 60 years later, we are still taking God’s healing power to people who are hurting. In this issue, we have a special report on how this ministry is continually moving forward to help you and your loved ones live the abundant life Jesus came to give us.

Lindsay and I are so excited about the wave of God’s healing power that’s been surrounding the Prayer Tower. We’ve been broadcasting our television programs live from there while prayer is going up to God through the Abundant Life Prayer Group.

My dad is still lifting up the name of Jesus, even as his 90th birthday approaches on January Lindsay wants you to know that God is not finished with you yet. And just because you may have had a bad diagnosis or faced some type of adversity, that doesn’t have to be the end of your story. “The Story of Your Life”—Lindsay’s message on how you can overcome whatever difficulties life has thrown you and emerge victorious through the power of God.

And I know you’ll enjoy reading about our friend Keith Wheeler’s article about what it must have been like for a blind man in the Bible to suddenly be able to see Jesus’ face…and how important it is in our own lives for us to be able to see Him, as well. Friend, I pray this is a blessing in your life, and that you start the year off right, believing for and receiving the miracles that you need!
